Parcel/courier scammers pretend to be from the Customs Department/Police and contact their targets through calls. On the call, scammers mention that a courier/parcel has been booked in the name of their target and the parcel contains narcotic drugs or illegal substances. They impersonate police/customs officers and inform their targets about a possible arrest. Scammers use psychological tactics during the calls to threaten the victims and obtain their personal information such as Bank/Card details. They make the victims believe that they are being digitally arrested and ask them to share their sensitive/personal information.
